Privacy Policy

We process contact details you submit only to respond to your review request. Data is stored securely and shared with our case managers. You may request deletion via the privacy mailbox.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how AntiScam Hub (the website available at anti-scam-hub.com and its language subdomains, including ru.anti-scam-hub.com, de.anti-scam-hub.com, es.anti-scam-hub.com, fr.anti-scam-hub.com, it.anti-scam-hub.com and jp.anti-scam-hub.com) collects, uses, stores, discloses and otherwise processes personal data. By accessing the site, submitting a review request, ticking a consent box, continuing to browse after the cookie notice, or otherwise interacting with our forms, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy and agree to the processing described herein. If you do not agree, please do not use the service and do not send us any personal information.

2. Scope and legal bases

We process data to operate a public website-trust checker, to receive and handle expert-review / recovery-assessment requests, to communicate with you, to prevent abuse, to measure audience, to show informational and advertising blocks, and to comply with applicable law. Depending on your location, processing may rely on: (a) your consent (forms, marketing cookies, optional communications); (b) performance of a request you initiated; (c) our legitimate interest in running a secure informational service, detecting fraud against the site itself, and improving content; and (d) legal obligations (tax, accounting, requests of competent authorities where required). This Policy is informational and does not create a lawyer–client relationship.

3. Data you provide in applications

When you submit an expert review, report or similar form, you may provide: full name; email address; phone number; messenger type and identifier (Telegram, WhatsApp or other); website, broker or platform name; approximate loss range; free-text description of events; preferred manager language; technical tokens (CAPTCHA response); and any files or extra details you choose to paste. You confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorised to share it. Do not send special-category data (health, biometrics, political opinions, etc.) unless strictly necessary for the case — we do not request it.

4. Transfer to third parties for case handling

By submitting a request and accepting this Policy you expressly agree that we may transfer your application data to third parties involved in processing the request. This includes, without limitation: case managers and consultants working with our network; affiliated review portals and operational hubs that store leads in a shared case database; messaging and notification providers (including Telegram bots used to alert managers); email and hosting providers; anti-bot / CAPTCHA vendors (Cloudflare Turnstile); and, where relevant, payment-scheme or chargeback specialists who need the facts of the case. Recipients may be located outside your country. We do not sell your application as a marketing list of random contacts, but we do share it with partners who actually work the case. If you do not want such sharing, do not submit the form.

5. Automatically collected data

Servers, reverse proxies and security layers (including Cloudflare) may log IP address, approximate geolocation derived from IP, browser type, language, device, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps, and security events. We may store a truncated hash of the IP together with a lead to limit abuse. Scanner queries (the domain you check) are processed to produce a trust score; we may retain check metadata for quality, caching and abuse prevention. Public WHOIS/RDAP, SSL and third-party registry signals are not 'your' personal data, but the fact that you requested a check of a given domain may be logged.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, local storage and similar technologies. Strictly necessary items keep the site working (for example language host, security, load balancing, CAPTCHA). Preference cookies remember dark/light theme. Analytics and measurement cookies (where enabled) help us understand traffic from search engines such as Google and Yandex. Advertising / affiliate cookies may be set by or in connection with partner blocks (VPN, privacy and safety tools) so that clicks can be attributed. Third-party embeds and outbound links (news RSS, partner sites) are governed by those third parties' own policies. You can delete cookies in your browser; blocking all cookies may break forms and language switching.

7. Advertising, affiliates and competitors

The site may display advertising, sponsored recommendations and affiliate links, including tools operated by other brands (for example ScamAdviser, NordVPN, Incogni, Private Internet Access, Surfshark, Proton VPN and similar). Clicking those links may send the partner a technical referral signal. We do not control their privacy practices. Listing a tool does not mean we audited it end-to-end or that it is suitable for your situation. Advertising revenue helps keep the public checker available.

8. Retention

Application records are kept for as long as needed to handle the case, prevent duplicate spam, meet bookkeeping rules and defend legal claims — typically no less than 12 months and often longer if a dispute remains open. Server logs are rotated on ordinary infrastructure cycles. Cookie lifetimes vary (session vs months). You may ask us to delete or restrict data where the law allows; we may retain a minimal record that a request existed if required to fight fraud.

9. International transfers

Infrastructure, managers and vendors may process data in the EU, the UK, the USA, the Russian Federation and other countries. Safeguards, where applicable, may include contractual clauses, vendor policies and access controls. By using language subdomains and sending a form you understand that cross-border processing is inherent to an international web service.

10. Your rights

Subject to local law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to certain processing, and you may withdraw consent for the future (this does not invalidate prior lawful processing). To exercise rights, email the privacy mailbox listed on this page and describe the request so we can identify the record. We may ask you to verify identity. You may also complain to a supervisory authority in your country.

11. Children

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor submitted a form, contact the privacy mailbox and we will take reasonable steps to delete the record.

12. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, CAPTCHA on public forms and ordinary hosting security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Do not send passwords, full card numbers or one-time codes in the description field.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is always published at /privacy on the relevant language host. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised text where permitted by law. Material changes may additionally be highlighted in the cookie banner or on the form.

14. Contact

Questions about this Policy, cookies or data transfers: use the privacy email published in the site footer. For case status, use the same channel you indicated on the form. AntiScam Hub is an informational project; we do not promise a refund, a court outcome or that a third-party partner will accept your case.
