NEW DELHI -- Indian students in search of higher education are increasingly shifting their sights from popular destinations in the U.S., the U.K., Canada and Australia to domestic institutions, recent official and private surveys show, driven by stricter immigration rules, rising costs and uncertainty about job availability abroad after graduation.
